IDEAL FOR HOME MUSIC LISTENING AS WELL AS STUDIO REFERENCE APPLICATIONS

The ADI-2 DAC FS comes with a lot of enhancements including a robust SteadyClock, a fine-tuned analogue circuitry, a useful MRC remote control along with a powerful headphone output and a dedicated IEM output. It also embraces the best features of its predecessor like the transparent sound signature, DSP Processing and a 5-Band Parametric EQ. Overall, the ADI-2 DAC FS is a DAC with a stunning design and is designed for simplified operation making it perfect for home as well as studio applications.

A CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED, ALL ROUND DAC FOR A POWERFUL SONIC PERFORMANCE

Taking the ADI-2 Pro a notch higher, the ADI-2 DAC FS features an upgraded, high-end AD/DA converter with two outputs for headphones and IEMs each and efficient remote control. The background noise and other forms of audio distortions are taken care of by the advanced analogue output stage. This all-round setup allows the ADI-2 DAC FS to function as a reference DAC and it has been acclaimed by critics for its sound, dynamics and technical features.

DESIGNED FOR AN ENHANCED AND DISTORTION FREE AUDIO OUTPUT

AKM's AK4493 chipset is used in the updated ADI-2 DAC FS which is backed by a specially designed circuit aiding the chip to deliver excellent performance. The noise levels are minimised to 123 dBA, distortion to less than -120 dB, and THD N to -116 dB. The IEM output is at -121 dBu which is the world's lowest noise through the headphone output. To improve things further the ADI-2 DAC FS gives a 4 dB of digital headroom allowing you to enjoy your music even on high volumes without any audible distortion. The volume setting is now reserved to offer undistorted analogue signal output. This DAC offers a new selectable digital filter along with a low dispersion feature.

OFFERING SUPER LOW NOISE OUTPUT FOR HIGHLY SENSITIVE IEMS

Modern highly sensitive IEMs often face issues like floor noise and other kinds of audio distortions. The ADI-2 DAC FS uses RME powered IEM output which brings down the noise floor to an exceptional 10 dB. Even the output impedance is near zero ohms while the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) reaches new record lows. With click-free on/off and volume ramp-up option, you can use this DAC with any IEM without losing on the sound quality.

THE MOST REQUESTED FEATURE OF AN AUTODARK MODE IS HERE

AutoDark mode is among the most requested features by users of the previous ADI-2 Pro. Under the AutoDark mode, the display, function keys, standby button and volume knob will go off if there is no user operation for 10 seconds. If you touch any button or control the lights will turn on for 10 seconds. You can easily turn the AutoDark mode off and if you touch any button on the remote, the lights will stay on for 3 seconds.

CONTROL UNDER YOUR FINGERTIPS WITH MULTI-REMOTE SUPPORT (MRC)

The ADI-2 DAC FS is equipped with a carefully designed remote enabling you to efficiently manage your DAC. This remote has well-defined buttons which can be read clearly even in low light conditions. These ergonomically designed buttons are well spread out and are placed in a manner which makes it easy for you to remember. There are dedicated buttons for standby on/off, volume, balance, bass and treble, input selection (optical, coaxial, USB), mute, on/off loudness, bass/treble and EQ. For more versatility, 4 programmable buttons allow you to access 32 different functions and commands. This remote is not just an add-on accessory but a sophisticated tool to help you manage your DAC the way you want to.

INTEGRATION OF STEADYCLOCK FS FOR RELIABLE AND UNCOMPROMISED PERFORMANCE

Over the years, the SteadyClock FS has been acclaimed for its exceptional performance in various RME devices. SteadyClock is a part of the ADI-2 DAC FS assuring that the integration of an internal clock yields as good of a result as an external clock. It gets rid of internal jitter to a record low level and efficiently manages to handle all kinds of digital interface formats. The design and functions are so flawless that it was adopted into the ADI-2 DAC as it is.

A BIT TEST TO ENSURE NOTHING HINDERS THE OUTCLASS PERFORMANCE

To make sure that the playback path is free of unnecessary changes in the playback data, a bit test is used. This test checks for proper channel assignment, left/right synchronicity and polarity. It also highlights cuts in bits, the presence of audio dither or other undesirable changes that can hinder the performance. The Bit test not only highlights these errors but also ensures that these errors are removed from the system for unrivalled performance.
